These Terms and Conditions govern the booking and utilization of private vehicle hire, one-way drop cab services, and outstation taxi transportation facilitated by OneWay Chennai Express ("Company", "We", "Us"). By confirming a booking online, via phone, or WhatsApp, you ("Passenger", "User") agree to be bound by these policies.
• One-Way Drop Taxi Billing: All one-way rides are billed based on the actual driving distance calculated from the specified pickup address to the destination drop address.
• Minimum Billable Distance: The standard minimum billable distance for one-way journeys is 130 KM (250 KM for Tempo Travellers). Shorter trips are billed for the minimum threshold.
• Round Trip Billing: For multi-day or round-trip bookings, billing is computed at a minimum of 250 KM to 300 KM per calendar day.
• Driver Allowance (Bata): Driver Bata is included in the base booking estimate per day/trip as specified in the tariff chart.
• FASTag Electronic Tolls: Highway toll charges are not included in the standard per-kilometer vehicle rate. FASTag plaza charges incurred during the transit are payable by the customer at actuals.
• Interstate Commercial Permits: When crossing state borders (e.g. Tamil Nadu to Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, or Kerala), commercial entry permit fees must be reimbursed to the driver at actuals.
• Hill Station / Parking Charges: Entry fees, municipal green tax (e.g. Ooty, Kodaikanal), and airport/railway parking fees are payable directly by the passenger.
• Each vehicle category has a designated seating capacity complying with Central Motor Vehicle Rules (4 passengers for Sedans, 6-7 for SUVs). Carrying passengers beyond legal capacity is strictly prohibited.
• Luggage should fit within the vehicle's rear boot compartment without obstructing the driver's rear visibility. Carrying commercial cargo or hazardous materials is prohibited.
• We offer 100% free cancellations when requested at least 2 hours before the scheduled departure time.
• While our chauffeurs make every effort to arrive 15 minutes before scheduled pickup, we are not liable for uncontrollable delays resulting from natural calamities, severe highway traffic jams, or unforeseen road closures.
In the rare event of a mechanical breakdown en route, the company guarantees immediate dispatch of an equivalent replacement vehicle or reimbursement of the onward travel cost without delay.
Any legal disputes arising from transportation agreements shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. For inquiries or clarification regarding these terms, contact our support team at booking@onewaychennaiexpress.com.
